Dreamachine Terms and Conditions

Ticket Booking Conditions 

Failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions will make your ticket void.

  1. You must be aged 18 or over to book tickets for a High Sensory Dreamachine experience. 
  2. To gain entry, tickets delivered as e-tickets may be presented at the venue on a mobile device or printed out so that Dreamachine staff are able to validate it electronically. Tickets which are altered or defaced will not be valid. You must be able to present your ticket on request while at the venue and Collective Act will not honour or replace duplicated tickets that have already been used for admittance.
  3. If you have been invited to the experience and are attending on the door, you will be required to complete the Pre Booking Form and accept these Terms and Conditions on the door before entry is permitted.
  4. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory legal rights.

Conditions of Entry and Attendance

  1. The High Sensory Studio Dreamachine experiences contain fast flashing bright lights known as strobe lighting and/or loud sound and are not suitable for everyone. Event details are available on the Dreamachine website. Please do not attend if you have any sensitivities to fast flashing bright lights and/or the combination of both fast flashing light and loud music.
  2. To gain entry to the High Sensory  Dreamachine experience, you must show your ID and your confirmation of the pre-booking form  confirming that you have completed the pre-booking form and agreed to the Terms and Conditions applicable to the High Sensory Dreamachine experience. 
  3. You are advised to arrive 10 minutes before the advertised start time. Latecomers will not be admitted to the venue and there will be no ticket refunds or compensation in the event a participant is denied admission due to lateness.  
  4. If you leave while the Dreamachine experience is in progress, you will not be permitted to re-enter.
  5. You are required to follow the instructions at the venue given by staff of Dreamachine.  
  6. The Dreamachine is open only for individuals age 18 or over. Anyone under this age will not be admitted, even if accompanied by an adult. You must provide photographic ID.  
  7. For security reasons, packs or handbags may be searched as a condition of entry. Large items of luggage cannot be brought to or stored at the event. Collective Act does not accept any responsibility or liability for property you bring to the venue that is damaged, lost or stolen.  
  8. No glass containers, other large, heavy or sharp objects, alcohol or any illegal substance may be brought into the venue. No animals may be brought to the venue, except for assistance dogs.
  9. Smoking, vaping and the use of e-cigarettes are not permitted within the venue. 
  10. You are expected to treat Dreamachine staff and visitors with kindness and respect.  Hate crimes, hate incidents and any other form of harassment will not be tolerated.
  11. Tickets are revocable licenses that may be revoked by Collective Act for any reason.  Collective Act reserves the right to refuse admission to and/or eject any person appearing to be intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, or otherwise behaving dangerously, aggressively, inappropriately or in a manner which is likely to affect the enjoyment of other visitors. 
  12. In the event there are entry conditions in place for the protection of public health, such as the wearing of masks, Collective Act may refuse admission if you are unable or unwilling to comply with such requirements. 
  13. Mobile phones may only be used prior to entry to the Dreamachine experience and must be switched off during the experience. 
  14. Audio recording, video recording and photography are not allowed in the venue by participants.
  15. Video recording will be in use to view and record audience members in the Dreamachine experience in order to maintain a safe environment for staff and audiences, to help respond to health issues, to capture images for research purposes, and to assist in the effective resolution of any disputes. Details of use of video recording are contained in Collective Act’s Privacy Policy.
  16. No refunds or compensation will be payable by Collective Act in the event that any person is not permitted to enter, including but not limited to the reasons set out in clauses 1 to 18 above, or decides not to complete the Dreamachine experience.  
  17. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. No refunds or exchanges will be issued for any reason. Fees are non-refundable.
  18. You knowingly and voluntarily assume all risk of personal injury and serious injury, including without limitation seizures, headache, nausea, dizziness, and other adverse reactions, which may occur by your participation, and hereby forever release, discharge, and hold Collective Act and its directors, officers, employees, representatives and agents harmless from any claim arising from such risk, and assume full responsibility and liability for your participation.  
  19. After participants leave the Dreamachine experience, you are invited to a space where you can write, talk and draw about what you saw and experienced. As a visitor, you give permission to Collective Act to use, copy, publish, share, alter and adapt any feedback you provide or drawings you create after the Dreamachine experience.   
  20. You acknowledge that Collective Act and its representatives are using film, video, and photographic cameras, audio recorders, live streaming devices, and other means of capturing media at the Dreamachine event, and that your name, image, likeness, actions, and statements (“Personal Attributes”) may be captured on film, video, photographs, audio recordings, streams, or other media, that may be displayed or disseminated without your consent or payment of compensation, and you release Collective Act from any liability due to such capturing, display, or dissemination. You grant Collective Act the right to include your Personal Attributes in any media or context for any purpose, without further authorization or compensation. 
  21. Information provided to Collective Act in connection with the purchase of event tickets is covered by Collective Act’s Privacy Policy.
  22. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and enforced according to the laws of the United Kingdom without regard to any rules relating to conflicts of laws. You understand that any claim or dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms and Conditions must be brought exclusively in the courts located in the United Kingdom, and you submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purpose of litigating all such claims or disputes.
  23. Please respect the venue’s neighbors and the local area when arriving at and leaving the venue and keep noise to a minimum.
  24. These Terms and Conditions may be changed by Collective Act prior to the event, and if so, the revised Terms and Conditions will apply to you. This page contains the most up to date Terms and Conditions. Your use of a ticket for entry to the event signifies your binding agreement to the Terms and Conditions in effect at the time of entry to the event.

BY ATTENDING THE EXPERIENCE, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ AND FULLY UNDERSTAND THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS, WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY, AND UNDERSTAND THAT YOU HAVE GIVEN UP SUBSTANTIAL RIGHTS, AND DO SO KNOWINGLY AND VOLUNTARILY WITHOUT ANY INDUCEMENT OR DURESS.
