Studio Dreamachine Terms and Conditions 

The Studio Dreamachine is presented by Collective Act Ltd

When you book a ticket for the Studio Dreamachine experience you accept the Studio Dreamachine Terms and Conditions.

Ticket Booking Conditions 

Failure to comply with these Terms & Conditions will make your ticket void.

  1. You must be aged 18 or over to book tickets for a Studio Dreamachine experience. 
  2. Tickets bookings are restricted to a maximum number which is communicated on the ticket booking page. 
  3. It is your responsibility to check your tickets carefully when you receive them as mistakes cannot always be rectified. Please contact dreamachine@collectiveact.co.uk immediately if there is a mistake.
  4. Replacement of lost or stolen tickets is at the sole discretion of the ticket issuer. Proof of original ticket purchase must be presented. 
  5. Tickets cannot be refunded or exchanged. 
  6. Tickets are issued solely for personal use and must not be resold for profit or commercial gain. Failure to comply will make the ticket void.
  7. To gain entry, tickets delivered as e-tickets may be presented on a mobile device or printed out. Tickets which are altered or defaced will not be valid. You must be able to present your ticket on request while at the venue and Studio Dreamachine staff must be able to validate it electronically. Collective Act  will not honour or replace duplicated tickets that have already been used for admittance.
  8. Collective Act reserves the right to make alterations to the advertised programme at any time without advance notice. Collective Act reserves the right to reschedule, cancel or abandon an event. If your session is cancelled or rescheduled, your ticket will be refunded or exchanged for a ticket to another session (subject to availability). Refunds for tickets purchased by credit or debit card will be refunded to that card.  Where possible, Collective Act will attempt to contact bookers via the box office provider should a cancellation, postponement or significant amendment to the event be made. It is the responsibility of the ticket booker to ensure the contact details held by the box office provider are correct and up to date. Collective Act cannot guarantee that they will be able to make contact with you. 
  9. Collective Act is not liable for any personal travel, accommodation or hospitality arrangements made relating to the event or incurred in relation to the cancellation or rescheduling of any event.
  10. Proof of identity may be required before collecting tickets in person. 
  11. These terms and conditions do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Conditions of Entry and Attendance

 

  1. You must be in possession of a valid ticket at all times.
  2. To gain entry to the High Sensory Studio Dreamachine experience, you must show your pre-booking form confirmation email and ID, confirming that you have completed the pre-booking form and consented to participation in the High Sensory Studio Dreamachine experience. 
  3. The High Sensory Studio Dreamachine experiences contain fast flashing bright lights known as strobe lighting and/or loud sound and are not suitable for everyone. Event details are available on the Dreamachine website.
  4. You are advised to arrive 10 minutes before the advertised start time. Latecomers will not be admitted to the venue and no ticket refunds or compensation will be payable in such circumstances. 
  5. Re-admission to a Studio Dreamachine session which has started may not be possible. 
  6. You are required to follow the instructions given by Studio Dreamachine and Hackney Downs Studios staff at the venue. 
  7. Collective Act reserves the right to require photographic ID.
  8. The Studio Dreamachine is for ticket holders aged 18 or over. Anyone under this age will not be admitted. If you are aged 18-25 you must be able to provide photographic ID as proof of age. If you are over 25 you will only need to show proof of your name. Any adults accompanied by minors will be unable to enter the venue. 
  9. For security reasons, bags may be searched as a condition of entry and Collective Act may require that bags and other large items are checked into lockers, subject to availability. Please do not bring luggage to the Studio  Dreamachine. 
  10. No glass containers, other large, heavy or sharp objects, alcohol or any illegal substance may be brought into the venue. No animals to be brought into the venue except for assistance dogs.
  11. Smoking, vaping and the use of e-cigarettes are not permitted within the venue. 
  12. Hate crimes, hate incidents and any other form of harassment will not be tolerated. You are expected to treat Studio Dreamachine staff and visitors with kindness and respect.
  13. Collective Act reserves the right to refuse admission to and/or eject any person appearing to be intoxicated, under the influence of drugs, or otherwise behaving dangerously, aggressively, inappropriately or in a manner which is likely to affect the enjoyment of other visitors. 
  14. There may be entry conditions in place for the protection of public health, such as the wearing of masks, and Collective Act may refuse admission if you are unable or unwilling to meet such requirements. 
  15. Mobile phones must be switched off during the Studio Dreamachine experience.
  16. Use of mobile phones is restricted to designated areas as directed by Dreamachine staff. 
  17. Audio recording, video recording and photography are not allowed in the venue, except at designated points. Collective Act reserves the right to insist that phones, cameras and recording equipment are left in the lockers.
  18. CCTV will be in use to view and record audience members in and around the Studio Dreamachine experience in order to maintain a safe environment for staff and audiences, to help respond to health issues, to capture images for research purposes, and to assist in the effective resolution of any disputes. Collective Act recognises that the images of individuals recorded by CCTV cameras are personal data which must be processed in accordance with data protection legislation and has registered its use of CCTV with the Information Commissioner. Details of use of CCTV are contained in Collective Act’s Privacy Policy.
  19. No refunds or compensation will be payable by Collective Act in the event that any person is not permitted to enter, including but not limited to the reasons set out in clauses 1 to 18 above, or decides not to complete the Studio Dreamachine experience.  
  20. In the absence of any negligence or other breach of duty by Collective Act, your participation in the Studio Dreamachine experience is entirely at your own risk and you acknowledge that Collective Act does not assume or accept any liability for such participation.
  21. As a visitor, you give permission to Collective Act to use, copy, publish, share, alter and adapt any feedback you provide or drawings you create after the Studio Dreamachine experience on an anonymous basis. 
  22. While at the Studio Dreamachine experience, you consent to being photographed or filmed, and consent to resulting materials being used in marketing, publicity and other materials and communications in any medium by Collective Act and/or current or future partners and/or funders., commissioners and funders. If you do not wish to be filmed or photographed, please inform a member of the Studio Dreamachine staff. Photographs and recordings of you are personal data which will be processed in accordance with data protection legislation and Collective Act’s Privacy Policy.
  23. Collective Act does not accept any responsibility or liability for property you bring to the venue that is damaged, lost or stolen.
  24. Please respect the venue’s neighbours and the local area when arriving at and leaving the venue and keep noise to a minimum.
